Food Order Network Accepted Into 1871

Food Order Network proudly announces being accepted in 1871, the leading incubator for Chicago's start-ups and entrepreneurial community. 1871 is located in Chicago's historic Merchandise Mart, one time the largest building in the world, at over 4 million square feet. The art deco landmark along the banks of the Chicago River was built by Marshall Field and owned for more than 50 years by the Kennedy family.

Today, the Merchandise Mart is home to many Chicago-based technology companies, now including Food Order Network. Chicago's home to the entrepreneurial community, 1871, is housed on the 12th floor of the Merchandise Mart. 1871 gets its name from the great Chicago Fire, but not the fire itself. It's the story of what happened after the fire, when the brightest minds came together - including the architects, engineers, and inventors - to rebuild a new city. Their innovations shaped the modern world. Thus both the name, and the aspirations, of the new home for Chicago's startup community.
